The embroidery backs show the journey that was experienced in order to end up with a visually perfect embroidery piece, whilst also reminding its viewers that chaos needs to happen in order to discover and create beauty. The embroidery backs also show that a particular level of disorganisation and inconsistencies are acceptable as the end result will still be flawless in the eyes of others as many do not see or appreciate the development of the creation process.
