Embroidery Samples

As the focus of this project is targeted towards the high-end market, it was the most appropriate choice to solely utilise hand stitch techniques, in order to produce embroidery pieces of a high craftsmanship. The use of fine threads and metallic yarns were a predominant choice of embellishment throughout this project as the intricacy and elegance created with these materials proved to give superior results, especially when considering the sophistication and delicacy of the embroidery itself, as well as the target market.

The entire collection of samples produced in this project are composed on a dark fabric ground as it was one of the main developments taken through from the Research & Development project. Another crucial aspect taken from the previous project also involves working at a larger scale, therefore, the majority of the samples produced in this collection are of a large-scale, but the size of the embroidery and stitches themselves are kept at a regular/smaller scale.
